Congratulations to Dr. Jackie Radpour Rowles, DNP, CRNA, MBA, ANP-BC, DAIPM, FAAN who was hired as an Associate Professor, School of Anesthesia, Advanced Pain Management Fellowship Program at Texas Christian University!

Dr. Rowles is the President of the International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists, Past President of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, leader and pioneering educator in pain management. Presently, she serves on the board of the Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia Mentorship Program. 

CRNA Faculty Profile: Congratulations are in order for Dr. Derrick Glymph, DNAP, CRNA, APRN, COL., USAR for being promoted to Chair of the Nurse Anesthesiology Department & Clinical Associate Professor at Florida International University

Dr. Glymph is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserves. Also, he serves on the editorial board for the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Journal. And, serves as a Board Member of the Florida State Board of Nursing. Dr. Glymph has written nurse anesthesia articles for publication in peer-review journals. During his tenure as a ranking faculty member at Florida International University Nurse Anesthesia Program, he has championed a diverse CRNA faculty and nurse anesthesia cohorts. And, he is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.  BRAVO! 

CRNA Faculty Profile: Dr. Sonya Moore, DNP, CRNA (Program Director, Case Western Reserve University & AANA Region Director)

Dr. Moore have actively been engaged at past Diversity CRNA Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshops and at a Diversity CRNA HBCU School of Nursing Tour at North Carolina A&T State University!  You will meet Dr. Moore at the Diversity CRNA 2020 Info Session & Airway Sim Lab at Case Western Reserve University May 1st – 3rd!
We’ll start at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing on Friday with a 4 hour session (12 Noon – 4PM) on the following: admission process, essay construction, interview preparation, financial planning management, and the DNP or DNAP curriculum with a presentation on topics for consideration for a scholarly capstone project! And, that’s just day one of this full weekend event!
