As a result, Emory University has canceled the one-day Diversity CRNA Boot Camp scheduled for April 11, 2020, until further notice

Diversity CRNA Boot Camp on April 11th, Saturday Only 

Experienced diverse CRNAs will present on Anesthesia topics, translating didactic into clinical preparedness, selecting doctorate scholarly project topics, how to log-in clinical anesthesia cases & more! This event does NOT include an Airway Simulation Lab Workshop. 

This one-day event is intended for nurses interested in nurse anesthesia or recently accepted into a program! Continental breakfast & lunch included! 

The Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia Mentorship Program (DNAMP) realizes that hundreds of CRNAs, RNs, nursing students, and others are excited about the scheduled 2020 events.  As a result, we wanted to reach out to you regarding our intentions on the rapidly unfolding Coronavirus.

As you are aware the COVID-19 situation is influx and DNAMP is continuing to monitor the ongoing situation.  DNAMP’s priority is the health and safety of all involved during a proposed event. Based on the current situation and with that in mind, the need to postpone and reschedule some or all of the events is a strong possibility.  We will currently suspend registration for all 2020 events until further notice.

DNAMP will keep you informed of the ongoing developments regarding the remaining 2020 events as time goes on.  Please follow the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for staying safe.

Congratulations to Wallena Gould, EdD, CRNA, FAAN (Founder and CEO, Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia Mentorship Program) who was recently selected as the 2019 Agatha Hodgins Award Recipient for Outstanding Accomplishment from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.  In 2018, she was selected for The Trailblazer Award at The National Black Nurses Association Annual Conference. And in 2015, Dr. Gould was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
