Congratulations Nurse Anesthesia Class of 2024! We are thrilled to celebrate your incredible achievement of a 100% first-time pass rate on the NBCRNA exam! A whole class of students passing on their first attempt is an incredible feat, and a testament to the hard work and effort our graduates poured into their studies to achieve such success. Here’s to continued excellence and many more achievements in the future!

And, just like that, Dr. Standerline Vincent, DNP, CRNA, Alumna from the University of North Florida Nurse Anesthesia Program completed didactic, clinical, DNP scholarly project requirements, graduation & passed CRNA boards!

So Godly proud of you! As Black women in nurse anesthesia can be overwhelming standing in excellence! Notably, being the only Black graduate resident in the nurse anesthesia cohort, amazing!

And, just like that, Dr. Standerline Vincent at the University of North Florida Nurse Anesthesia Program as the only Black graduate in entire cohort!

As the darkness gave way to dawn
You've survived, now your moment has arrived
Now your dream has finally been born

The journey through CRNA school has been, without question, the most challenging and transformative experience of my life. These past three years have been a testament to perseverance, resilience, and the power of unwavering determination. Balancing the demands away from my husband and family and navigating the emotional toll of loneliness often felt never ending. The training environment added its own set of stressors. Managing the intricacies of diverse personalities and striving to present the best version of myself every day, even when I felt far from it. All of this was compounded by the reality of life outside of school, where responsibilities and personal challenges didn’t pause for the end goal. I couldn’t have made it through without my incredible support system.

To my family, friends, and mentors who stood steadfastly in my corner, cheering me on even on my toughest days—thank you a million times. To my mentors who reassured me, calmed my nerves, and were always just a text or call away. I am forever grateful to each of you. Now, to officially introduce myself as…Dr. Monica M. Lebron, CRNA!

Here’s to the next chapter!
