Three special guests attended the Diversity CRNA 2024 Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshop hosted at Midwestern University
Midwestern University School of Nursing is affiliated with a local high school mentoring students in the health care and nursing profession. Three high school students with permission were active in simulation and networking with CRNAs and nurse anesthesia faculty.
Planting seeds of mentoring & early professional socialization in Nurse Anesthesia.
They were able to meet CRNAs of color, learn about the nurse anesthesia admission criteria and academic/clinical rigor. More importantly, they needed to touch the anesthesia equipment.

Congratulations Jade Holman, ICU Nurse who recently passed the CCRN Exam! A few weeks ago, she attended and actively participated at the Diversity CRNA 2024 Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshop hosted at Midwestern University Event!
On Friday, during the Diversity CRNA Meet & Greet Event, Jade was one of 12 critical care nurses who competed in the cup game to win one of four Nurse Anesthesia by Nagelhout 7th edition textbook! The cup game moderated by Dr. Nathaly Palacios was fun!
