ANA Innovation Award-Winning Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia Mentorship Program
Celebrating a momentous event that champions inclusivity within the Nurse Anesthesia community, critical care nurses who have been historically excluded from various regions across the country come together to participate in five dynamic Diversity CRNA Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshops.
On Saturday, participants receive comprehensive information about CRNA programs, including insights into DNP/DNAP projects and clinical expectations.
Sunday is a full day of immersive simulations, equipping nurses with practical experience before applying to nurse anesthesia programs nationwide.
Watch the Future CRNA Workforce Grow! In a workforce of 65,000 CRNAs, only 4% are Black CRNAs, 4% are Hispanic CRNAs, 3% are Asian CRNAs, and just 0.7% are Indigenous CRNAs.

By the end of 2024, over 870 diverse CRNAs will have begun their journeys at Diversity CRNA Events, starting as critical care nurses before successfully applying to nurse anesthesia programs nationwide over the past 20 years.

- Rosalind Franklin University | August 22-24th, 2025 - Registration Opening in Febuary 2025
- Emory University | September 12th-14th, 2025 - Registration Opening in 2025
- Midwestern University | October 17-19th, 2025 - Registration Opening in 2025

For those unable to attend in person, the Saturday Information Sessions will be broadcast via Zoom from each host university. This is your chance to participate virtually and still gain valuable insights, no matter where you are located.

Don’t wait – these events fill up fast! Be ready to secure your spot whether in person or virtually as soon as registration for the 1st event has opened. The in person event at Kaiser Permanente is at capacity with a waitlist although you can still register for the Saturday Information Session via Zoom. The University of Pittsburgh event registration will open soon. The registration for the remaining three Diversity CRNA 2025 Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshops will open registration in February 2025!
