The Future of Nurse Anesthesia…
Begins with a strategic plan to mentor and provide early professional socialization to historically excluded nurses of color with diverse CRNAs at Diversity CRNA Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshop Events across the country.
We hosted 66 Diversity CRNA Workshop Event and marginalized critical care nurses have since graduated from these fine nurse anesthesia programs and are now delivering anesthesia:

By end of 2024, over 820 marginalized nurses would transition as CRNAs to deliver anesthesia, teach as faculty members, active duty military, Chief CRNAs, FAAN, Clinical Coordinators, PhD Researchers & Pain Management Fellows.
In 2025, we will host 5 Diversity CRNA Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshops as we continue our mission.
We are proud to mentor cohorts in the Nurse Anesthesia profession through the national award winning Immersion Model for Diversifying Nurse Anesthesia Programs.

Saturday, a comprehensive information shared about CRNA programs, DNP/DNAP projects & clinical expectation.
Sunday, a full immersive simulation day before nurses apply to nurse anesthesia programs across the country.

Fun fact: Out of a 65K CRNA Workforce, only 4% are Black CRNAs, 4% Hispanic CRNAs, 3% Asian CRNAs & 0.7% Indigenous CRNAs

By end of 2024, in 20 years, over 870 diverse CRNAs started at Diversity CRNA Events as critical care nurses before applying to nurse anesthesia programs across the country.
