A great day to shadow a CRNA!
Louie Delgado, BSN, RN, CCRN, CMC and
hashtag#firstgen college graduate, shadowed Dr. Everett Moss, DNP, CRNA in the operating room!
Louie met Dr. Moss who presented on DNP/DNAP Project Ideas at the Diversity CRNA 2024 Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshop hosted at the Midwestern University Event! And, Louie served on the Mock Interview Panel with fellow critical care nurses too!
In most nurse anesthesia programs as an admission criteria, shadowing a CRNA will deem you a competitive applicant.
Louie actively engaged with immersive weekend Diversity CRNA event and shadowing experience with CCRN/CMC credentials will no doubt open nurse anesthesia doors!
The Nurse Anesthesia community mourns the loss of Dr. John J. Nagelhout, PhD, CRNA, FAAN, former Nurse Anesthesia Program Director. Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia & phenomenal educator to CRNAs nationally.
Dr. Nagelhout was the author of the premier textbook, Nurse Anesthesia for over 22 years.
Dr. Nagelhout's last published book was the 7th ed. used widely in most nurse anesthesia programs with CRNA chapter authors with national expertise for over two decades.
An era ended in Nurse Anesthesia but his legacy touched so many CRNAs practicing across the country and to nurse anesthesia student cohorts.
Most of all, thank you for your contribution as a committed nurse anesthesia educator.
Praying and sending condolences to his family and to the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia community.
